The Port of San Diego is of appointed government officials that control San Diego Bay and owns and manages the Bay's immediate waterfront under the state's Tidelands Trust. The port controls 34 miles of waterfront beginning at the US Navy Sub base and extending down to Imperial Beach
The Port of San Diego is in the process of updating its Master Plan. This plan can remain in place for the next 30+ years.
